Our Purpose

Whether we like it or not, we have all been born into this world as part of one great human family. Rich or poor, educated or uneducated, belonging to one nation or another, to one religion or another, adhering to this ideology or that, ultimately each of is just a human being like everyone else. We all desire happiness and do not want suffering.

Unity in Diversity Foundation Inc’s (UiDF) purpose is to provide financial support to Canadian charitable organizations that focus on developing and fostering unity among people with diverse cultural, religious beliefs, social statuses and other demographic differences.   UiDF espouses the principle that differences enrich human interactions. 

UiDF also provides resources and tools that when utilized and practiced can lead to a state of calmness and heightened self-awareness. The most common positive impact from practicing using the tools and resources provided is the resulting improvement in one’s relationships. For instance, a calmer more self-aware nature helps sets boundaries of behaviour, prevents rash outbursts, helps to recognize value in others and increases the ability for empathy.
